So, let’s start with stereotypy. (For the sake of discussion, “stereotypy” and “stimming” will be used as interchangeable terms.)

Sherlock, at first glance, isn’t one to stim. He appears to have total control of his body at any given moment—he’d got a facile, catlike grace in nearly every move he makes. However, assuming Sherlock doesn’t have stereotypy is based more in ignorance of how stereotypy affects individuals than in fact.
